MODERNISING INDIAN NAVY  -- ROLE OF DSRV


  Recently U.K. based ship bulding company supplied DSRV (Deep Submergance Rescue Vehicle ) to INDIA.
India ordered for 2 DSRV worth 2000 crore rupees in 2016 .

HOW DSRV WORKS ?



         DSRV as name suggest it goo deep into ocean to save drowning submarines .
          It can make water-tight passage from drowning submarine into itself to save life of sailor and if possible it can push submarine to restart its engine .
 
      It have capacity of 14-21 peoples at a time .
 
      It is operated by a pilot .Only a single man can operate it vert fluently.


WHY DSRV IS NEEDED ?

 
      13 AUG 2013 was a black day for navy when one of the naval ship drowned into the indian ocean named INS SINDURAKSHAK . 


At that time  if we have DSRV then we can do much in that accident and can save life of 18 sailors in that ship.

So india orderd for 2 DSRV in 2016 to UK based naval company who are specialised in DSRV making.

By the time company delivered 1 of the DSRV to india .

RANK OF INDIA ?


     Still there are many countries who owns this type of vehicle but they are of either 1st or of 2nd generation.

    Meanwhile INDIA recieve 3 rd generation DSRV.

 CONCLUSION
 
    * DSRV will enhance power of INDIAN NAVY .It will make navy versatile in nature.
    
     * No sailor will fear of drowning into ocean.
   
      * In the arm race from china , pakistan etc. It will play a major role to become world power.
    
      * It will open new ways for ocean exploration.

ANDAMAN IS UNDER CYCLONE ALERT " PABUK" - THE HINDU

PABUK - ANAMAN IS UNDER CYCLONE ALERT. A ‘yellow’ alert has been sounded for the Andaman and Nicobar Islands as a cyclonic storm is moving towards the archipelago, the Home Ministry said on Saturday. The sea condition will be rough in the Andaman Islands, the Andaman Sea and the adjoining areas of east-central and south-east Bay of Bengal till January 7 owing to the cyclonic storm Pabuk, an official said, quoting a weather bulletin.                      Pabuk originated over the Gulf of Thailand and its neighbourhood, moved west-northwestwards with a speed of 10 kmph and lay centred over Thailand and neighbourhood, he said.                      The storm will become very rough over southeast and east-central Bay of Bengal, the Andaman Islands and the adjoining Andaman Sea by January 8 and rough over east-central and adjoining southeast Bay of Bengal.                            The sea condition will be very rough over the Nicobar Islands till Sunday.

CYCLONE PETHAI ATTACK INDIA  SOUTH- EAST COAST DESTRUCTION. WHY IN NEWS     Recently a cyclone named PETHAI attacked south - east coast of INDIA. Some of the places of A.P. and odisa .
